I killed Bambi today on my way to the lake while pulling the boat. 40 mph at the most. Granted not on purpose, but Bambi decided to "hop" on front of the LR. Ooooooops, it sounded like I hit a wall, I am assuming that's how hitting a wall sounds since I haven't done that yet. The thing bounced off the hood, hit the windshield, and then it's body went over the driver's side and the roof. To my surprise, I got two dents on the hood adjacent to the "R" of "ROVER", a good size dent on the fender and nothing else! Bambi, well, that's another story. He is history. Suicide perhaps? Thank the LR God's that I wasn't driving my wife's Acura. I figure the top of the LR hood is just above the Acura windshield. Now my wife wants to get rid of her Acura and get an LR2. Maybe this can be LR new sales pitch?

Finally got my shipment from the UK. Front and Rear Lamp guards. Saved a bunch o' dinero. If I bought them here = $500+. The price from the UK = $300 (including shipping). Total Savings = $200+ 
Hey vendors - yeah, you too dealers. Smart'n the F%&K up. It's a global economy. And until you bring your parts prices back to earth, I will continue to give the UK vendors my business.
Fronts are on. Rears are in wait. After a long road trip this weekend to Nashville, TN. Need a rest)

i put the rear covers on about 4.5 yrs ago and they were a bit of a pain to install for such a small add on. probaby took 1.5-2.0 hrs.
