I just found the passenger side floor flooded, I thought my wife left the door not fully closed, did vacuum the side right away and this morning the floor is completely wet again because yesterday and todays rain. I did spray water using the hose and found water dripping by the right side of the dashboard, see picture please and I believe the water is getting in by this part of windshield frame, can someone let me know if they had this issue and how to fix it.
I don’t want to bring it to the dealer because they will charge a lot to fix this.
Any help will be appreciated.

I did cover my LR4 with a waterproof poly tarp, before I did vacuum the passenger floor very well and few minutes ago I went to check my car again to make sure the water is not coming in but to my surprise the floor is wet again, I believe the water is coming from around the car cowl because I left it a little uncovered that section because my tarp is not big enough, I managed to pull it to the front and now is covered the cowl, I’m still wonder from where the water is coming, this really sucks as I love my LR4 and to see this things happen makes angry on how an expensive car can have these issues.
I hope I can find the issue, for now I have to wait as the storm is coming this way and I believe we are going to have rain today and tomorrow here in New Jersey.

The air intake for the cabin ventilation is just underneath the cowl, and water can drip into it if it gets between the windshield and the cowl (which can happen due to aging). Folks have made 'extensions' for the sheet metal that is intended to prevent that, to keep the water dripping down.

I think I found the issue, yesterday I did open the sun roof and found water on the sunroof passenger side, instantly I knew that was the issue, I unclogged it using a wire and test it many times after, now the water is going thru the drainage hoses and it is not coming in the passenger side floor anymore, I’m very happy because I thought that I will need to bring my car to the dealer and expend a lot money.
Thanks very much to everybody that gave an input on this.

What sort of wire did you use to unclog it? I think I have the same issue; I discovered water on the passenger side floor of my 2016 LR4.

I went to auto zone and found many options to buy wire packages that you can use, try to cut the wire tip and maybe tape it to make sure it is not sharp or it will damage the hoses, don’t force neither just push it to where it reaches pushing softly.
Make sure you pass it thru the y ducts in the sunroof corner when you open it. Mine was clogged on the y duct by the corner.

I had my drains blown out after purchase, there are 4 of them. I may hit monsoons this summer so I'm as ready as I'll ever be for leaks. Sometimes I get a drip down the rear glass hatch, but overall it feels like a tank inside.

I don't park under trees much anymore because that is one way the drains get clogged. And with the sunroof open, I shut the screen if I leave it. Birds have flown inside and they don't know how to get out because its all glass pretty much everywhere with a panoramic view. They drop in and forget about how they got there.

Be sure to check the rubber elbows on the drain hoses. They are in the front footwells where the drain hoses exit the vehicle.
