Tailgate stuck

When I hit unlock I can hear all the locks go, when I push the tailgate button I can hear the mechanism move. The tailgate wont open no matter what I try. I thought it just didnt latch so I leaned some weight on it and still nothing. Anyone have an ideas....emergency release somewhere? I cant imagine what they will do to it to get it open at the dealer.

Sorry, Ive been guilty of this too...I have found that while in a panic, waiting for someone to respond I almost always found the answer in the archives. Now I just go there first.

Actually I usually search using google and hit this forum, lrrforums, and disco3.co.uk all at the same time. Like this:
