Recently the steering on my 15 LR4 seems to be tougher to turn , the power steering seems to be fine and there is no "buzzing" noises associated with low fluid.

Has anyone had this feeling before?

Thanks in advance!

The lower steering shaft u-joint can bind and cause heavy steering. In my case it was only one axis that bound and that made the steering lumpy. It's a straight forward replacement if you're mechanically inclined. One way to check is to lift the front end so the tires are off the ground and then turn the steering (with the engine off). It should turn easily.
