Just got the replacement rear hatch struts from Atlantic British and installed them. Pretty easy once you understand how to do it. I never knew that the rear hatch would complete lifting on its own once you got it started and past the halfway point. I was propping it up with a stick towards the end and thought it was the weight of the access ladder that was causing it to fall down. That clearly wasn't the case because it lifts up just fine now. The LR4 is full of surprises, even now I'm learning new things.
