It's a 2006 HSE. Has the adaptive headlighting, but no cooler box, which is fine. It has home link, & cold climate. It is a certified and we bought an extended warranty. We purchased it monday night, dropped it off tuesday for some add-ons like front window tint etc. and picked it up wed. evening. Got it back just in time for the snow storm! We'll miss the 42mpg in our Jetta, but this is much better suited to our lifestyle and CO!! So far I love it! I started customizing it last night after I read the owners manual cover to cover. Although I have a dedicated trail rig, it'll be nice to go on some of the milder stuff with this!

I don't know what trail rig you have, but you'll soon see that the LR3 is more capable as a stock suv compared to a lot of altered off road 4x4's. Congrats!

Thanks!

Well my trail rig is a 1973 Ford bronco, highly modifed. The LR3 and this rig are not even in the same league, but I am looking forward to learning how capable the LR3 is. There are many trails in CO that are awesome, but I have never done them because they require a fair bit of pavement travel, which is something my bronco is not good at, but will suit the LR3 perfectly.

Put some tires on that LR3, and you'll be very pleasantly surprised what it will do.

I really like your LR3 and Bronco. My wife is still mad at me for not buying a silver one. She had to settle for the grey.

It is nice to see that LR3 and Early Bronco ownership go hand in hand. Here's my '75 and '76 and our grey '06 LR3 HSE

D90 - wow, beautiful broncos!! And LR3 of course. what's funny is we started looking hard for a grey LR3, silver was 4th on our list. But we're happy with it. I think white was at the top of my list. Just that it seems 9 out of 10 are silver.

Man, I love your stock bronco. I have the trail rig, I want a sunday cruiser now. Feel free to post more pics of both!

Thanks! Yeah, the white stuff is nice, especially since we have lived in TX for the last three years!! It's good to be home in CO! What's crazy is, last week was cold, windy and snowy. This week, today is the coldest day at 58. Should be into the 70's by the end of the week!

Oh, took the LR3 for it's first off-road adventure in our possesion. Just a little dirt road into the mountains. There were camry's up there, so it was no big deal, but we wanted to get out of town a little yesterday.

Congrats and welcome aboard!

While I wouldn't go straight at the rock climbing in exactly the same angle as that Bronco, I've been pleasantly surprised at just how much these things can get up, with a good set of tires of course.

Here's a video of a Colorado trip several of us did last year. We all got up Poughkeepsie Gulch with no problems.

Enjoy the ride!
