If the tank is made from the same material as Rover has used on the D1's and D'2, once you lower the tank and pound out the dented metal hanging support, the tank will pop back to it's normal shape on it's on.

I have one. The emissions system doesn't like it. The long ranger adds 28 gal capacity. ARB USA is the distributor however they will likely not sell it. It trips the check engine lite when the tank is empty. It thinks there is an emissions system leak. I haven't tried to overcome this yet but I have several ideas to how I will.

It's not, it doesn't.

I did email them to get the detail they will ship gonna cost me 1600+ tax/Duty but i do want it, not sure im comfortable doing the install tho

Hi , Yes we will ship to the US - but only to the nearest seaport -
approx cost is $660.00 AUD and this does not include any import duties or
taxes. The 104L auxilliary tank is $1392.00 AUD. Our website is
www.thelongranger.com.au which gives all the details on the tank. Thanks

Hi

I look after the manufacture of our fuel tanks.

Just a couple of points to mention:
1. Your vehicles have a leak testing function built in.
It is very important that there are no leaks in the fuel system otherwise error codes can happen.

2. Also we ship our tanks with no fuel restrictor for unleaded vehicles.
If you do order we would be best to supply a restrictor in the twin filler panel we supply as part of our kit.
This restrictor has no bearing on the function of the tank other than to stop you putting the wrong fuel in the vehicle.
But some states have strict rules and if they see the restrictor is not in the filler they may tell you that you can not register the vehicle as it will fail an emissions test.
It is a shame about this as once the restrictor is in place in our twin filler panel you can not aim the bowser into each tank and fill separately.

I also see you have come in via our other web site
Have you seen the tank website?
It has a "more pics" section where you can click on the pictures to enlarge them.
