mysterious clunk/knock after closing driver's door

Hi All, this is certainly minor compared to what seems to crop up with LR4s but i noticed recently when i close the door i then hear a quick Knock from the door [i am massuming it is coming from the lock when car is scuring itself]. anyone else ever had this happen. My son typically drives the car away at college so didnt have time during his winter break to diagnose further. I really just dont want a failure that is going to lock him out or something.

Could be… but those bolts should be torqued quite securely.
You’re certain its not the mirror, as its more susceptible to damage? Or something in the door pocket?
If you have ruled those out I’m afraid only removing the door card will aid your investgation.

yeah i dont think it was eminating from the mirror. i guess it could have been something in the door pocket but he has car on the way back to school today so i guess i will wait and see...thanks
