Luxury package, sell fast?

oh ya I forgot to mention, you being in colorado, having the heated mirrors and heated front windshield would help tremendously. I'm not sure if that was part of the luxury, cold climate or the HSE package, maybe someone else will chime in with more info. When you test drive them look closely at the front windshield, you can tell if it is heated or not.

The heated windshield has always been bundled with seat heat and that is usually easier to spot in online AD pictures. Happy hunting!

I have an 08 HSE with Lux and Heavy Duty Pkg. It was a tough combo to find at the time. Particularly the heavy duty package. Cold Climate is bundled with Lux or HSE, can't remember. Helps when we go up to the snow.

Heavy duty comes with the locking rear diff and a full size spare. Older models came with full size spares I think, so just looking for that isn't good enough. You could put it in low range rock crawl and go up something steep. If the rear diff shows a red locked symbol on the 4x4 info screen, you've got it. LR dealers can also look up the VIN and tell what options it came with.

So, I assuming this is the factory Nav...and if you don't have Nav, you can't tell?

If you have an SE there is a chance that you have the locker, but it becomes more slim.

That said, I believe the only way to tell would be to take a look at the differential itself.

Well, as it turns out, the LR3 we test drove at the dealer originally has all the luxury package offerings except the coolbox. Which is perfectly fine with me, I'll use a true console more than a cooler box. So with some negotiation, it looks like we'll be bringing her home tonight. When I drove it, I was impressed with the headlights and couldn't imagine how they could be better. Turns out they are already the top package, but the dealer itself didn't know that. It does have the cold climate package (A must for us) and is an HSE. We were hoping for a grey or white one, but there just hasn't been anything yet. And the dealer dropped their price and are giving us pretty fair amount on trade, so we decided to go thru with the deal.

I appreciate the help! I know I'll be around more to learn everything I can about my rig.
