LR4 market question

Don't mean to argue and maybe it is location specific, but NO. Not a low mileage LR4 Lux that is loaded in what was near mint condition on the west coast. Not happening. If you find one, please let me know and I'll buy it and flip it for $10k profit.

This one has over 90k miles on it. Mine had 65k. And this is not uncommon. You might have been looking at an HSE and not a LUX and maybe the miles/options were different, but I can assure you that you are not getting one like ours for $28k. Also, mine had about 18 months and over 10k miles left on the extended service plan, plus we just did the coolant pipes for preventative maintenance, so that helped out as well.

if you are looking and find a low mileage one in mint at that price, you should jump on it as those deals won't last long. Good luck with your search.

I am done with my search. I found sub 50k HSE, Silver Edition, HD options for 42k.

Non HD and loaded, plenty out there sub 75k for under 30k. It looks like many are now 32 to 36k. Butca lol of 32k cars can be had for sub 30k.

It's not and argument, just sayin what my experience was and not making it up.. My search was nation wide. Market seems flooded now. So prices will come down.

I owned a 1992 Landcruiser that I restored. It was abused and left for farm duty so I purchased for $3,000 and spent a couple of years fixing everything from an engine rebuild to window motors that had failed.

I sold that thing for $15,000 in 2017. They’re now going for $25-30,000 in that condition.

It’s only a matter of time until the LR3/4 market heats up the way 90’s Landcruisers did.

I had a 95 Land Cruiser from about 1999 to early 2008. Traded it in with 140k miles on it for $3,500. Chump change.

I was going back to school and needed the money for something different. That was around what it was worth at the time. I see what they go for now and kick myself. Of course, I could have taken that $3,500 and let it all sit in Apple stock and buy 2 of them now. Oh well.
