I finally got it

Well, I'm 800 miles into a new 2011 HSE Lux with HD & Vision. I got the vanilla black/tan version and I absolutely love it. I've been lurking around here for the past few months and I'd really like to thank everyone for there fantastic reviews both good and bad. I agree with most of what everyone has said and it really made the purchase and ownership a lot easier knowing about the problems before they became a surprise. I have ordered the receiver, wiring harness, front light guards and rear light guards. I have also already installed the johnson rods. I just cant help but personalize (screw with) my truck.

Only real complaint/wish is that the LR4 had about 30gal of fuel capacity. I can live with the MPG, but the constant trips to the gas station are really ******* me off. Thanks again.

Welcome to the forum! I got my new LR4 (Nara Bronze, HSE) in February and I love it as well. I just hit 2,800 miles. I agree with you, as I would have liked a larger gas tank. I don't do many miles, but I would imagine that frequent driving would certainly mean lots of trips to the gas station. I look forward to seeing your pics!

I'm okay with the size of the tank unless I was driving across several states a day. I purchased my LR4 back in November, 7 months now and 5900 miles. I fill up my tank every two or three weeks... so it's pretty ok.

Is anybody sure he actually is an LR owner? I looked through his posts and didn't see where he talks about actually having one. He talks about being in the market for one. He also lists "military" as his occupation. I wonder if he is lying about that too.

Is this board only for owners? Where does it say that? And why would I lie about being in the military? What is there to gain in doing that, especially on a Land Rover message board? Furthermore, where is the other lie you accuse me of? Please point it out for the entire board?
