I have a 2013 Land Rover LR4 that I don’t want to let go it overheated so it turns over very slow due to low compression. Is it worth having the engine replaced? If so, where can I find a engine at a reasonable price or just have the heads looked at or replaced if anyone can help please I don’t wanna scrap my Land Rover for no $400

Replacing the engine is going to cost a lot more than $4000 let alone $400.

If you want to try and save it you need to figure out if you just need new head gaskets or if you damaged the block. Are you doing this yourself or paying a shop?
