When I first bought my 03 discovery this summer, I had an intermittent 3 amigo thing going on when I would first start out cold and braked hard or turned a corner, but that finally just stopped on its own. Kinda weird. Now no 3 amigo's. Thats the good news.

Last week the emergency (parking) brake light went on and stayed on. Engaging the brake then fully releasing it worked at first and it would go off. However, now that doesn't work and so now the brake light just stays on regardless of whether the brake is engaged or not. The brake itself works fine.

Lastly, a couple of days ago, the SRS (airbag) light went on and now it stays on all the time.

So now I have these 2 compadre's instead of those 3 amigo's.

Any ideas or suggestions or should I take it in to a service dept?

Check battery voltage (may be time for a new battery) also check your brake fluid level.

you were right about the brake fluid

My son had the discovery at school all this time so we're just now trying your tips. Turns out there's a leak under the reservoir and that's what has caused the emerg. brake light to go on. So it was low brake fluid. I'm not sure how that reservoir attaches. It looks like there's some kind of unrecognizable clamp looking things that stick out on the bottom, but I don't want to mess it and break something so we'll probably take it to the dealer to have it looked at. Is there a seal or gasket under the reservoir? It doesn't look like the reservoir is cracked or anything so maybe it'll be relatively easy to fix.
Anyway thanks for that tip.

The battery checked out fine so that wasn't the problem with the srs light. However it went out all by itself so maybe that was just another phantom.

Appreciate it.
