Door seam (inner driver) rust? 2016 LR4.

Drain hole on the bad door clear? If you pry the window gasket back a bit and pour some water in does it flow out?

I wouldn't have thought of this without the pictures

It drains. Its just a bad weld. I've seen this many times. Most manufactures have a recall out there in the wild when this happens.

Thanks for the pictures. I was thinking different location of the rust. I wanted to see specific location so I could monitor my wife’s car. Thank you again for taking the time to post. Hope you get it resolved.

I have precisely the same issue. Must have been welded on a Friday afternoon. I didn’t think robots would care.

Anyways, cleaned. 2 coats of rust converter. I’ll let it cure another day before the top coats. Then the corrosion protection.
