Disco II heated seats

The driver side seat of my 00 series II just went out... The passenger seat still works. The power/on light switch on the center console lights up. I also checked the fuses underneath the front of the seat and they are not blown. Is there something else I should check or is the seat shot. Does anyone know if there is some type of seperate module under the seat that controls the heat.

The actual unit in the seat can go out unfortunately. They are very expensive to replace. I think it is around $1000 after labor to rip apart the seat.
