Did you order your LR4 ?

Ordered our Galway Green LR4 last week & i'm kind of curious what info/status updates we will get along the way.

Any dealers on this board that can look up order #s ?

i wonder if US spec trucks get made in batches ?

Does the boat stop on both coasts or are they railed across country ?


i guess i'm just looking to **** a little time while i wait

I ordered mine back in June. I've only had one update from the dealer. They had put my order into some Land Rover ordering system and wanted me to verify that everything looked correct. It gave me a build date of mid August (can't remember the exact date) and a delivery date of October 19th. I haven't contacted the dealer since for updates.

Got our first update from the dealer.
The order date was August 13th.
They gave us a build date of October 8th.
Build Completion date is by October 15th
with a delivery date of November 30th.

Nope, no need to order one......

We got lucky as my wife was looking for a White LR4 with Lux package and tan interior, or a Black on Black. My local dealer could not track down a White Lux package, so he offered us their service loaner which was Black on Black with the Lux package. It had about 900 miles on it when we picked it up, and we actually put almost 200 of the last miles on it to get to 900. It was in their service fleet for only three weeks, and the manager of the dealership was driving it as his company car. He said he put most of the 700 miles on it before we took it over night one night. It has the entertainment package which we were going to pass on, but the dealer gave it to us at no charge, and a larger discount to boot! All in all, we were able to knock $4800 of the sticker in total. Got a great deal, and the truck was and is flawless to date. We picked it up the last week of July, and now have almost 3k miles on it. We love it so far!!!
