Just after I bought my 2006 LR3 I learned about the dash cracks around the air bag. Mine didn't have them so I thought I got lucky. Then a couple of weeks ago, there they were.
First I tried some liquid vinyl mending stuff. Hot mess.
Next I looked into a new dash, but the cost
Finally decided that a dash mat was worth the $52.99 investment. It came today and I think I have a winner.
Here's a couple of pictures to show what it looks like. I went with the Tech Fabric from a company called Dashcare.
I have that exact dash cover and I get lots of compliments on it.
It doesn't look cheap and cheesy like the velour or carpet dash covers...
