The front and central valve blocks were serviced with new o rings. There was quite a lot of desiccant dust build up. Still need to do the rear. My gallery pressure is building into the 170’s psi range. What should it be? It’s probably the compressor. Who knows has a good source on the oem hitachi?

You could probably replace it with an AMK and flash the new firmware with your GAP tool.

Ok finally got around to getting parts ordered up. Went with a new rear valve block from lucky8 and new Arnott rear strut assemblies from FCP. Pretty sure the passenger side rear bag was leaking along with the rear valve block internally as the truck was snagging on the passenger side and eventually the rear would hit the bump stops. That is with the EAS fuse pulled. Front would never move. Thanks all for the comments. Update when the wrenching is done.

Replacement of the rear valve block did the trick! Back in business.

Looks like it was leaking at the voss connection on the VB that was feeding the passenger side air bag.

The new valve block was an easy install with the brass fitting stripped from the line. The air lines just push into the new fittings on the new valve block.

Hi, wanted to put this in an existing thread rather than start a fresh "I'm pulling a C1A20-64 help!" thread.

Here's what I've done so far:
  • Replaced FL bag (saw soapy bubbles)
  • New AMK compressor
  • New aftermarket middle valve block (RVH000046)
I can hear the compressor chugging away. On the GAP tool, I see the tank get anywhere from 110 to 130psi before the fault triggers and the compressor stops.

Other notes:
  • Zero overnight sag
  • No apparent leaks on any of the other bags
  • No apparent leaks on the tank
My next thought is to replace the front and rear valve blocks, but I want to make sure that would actually contribute to the low pressure I’m seeing from the tank.

Thanks in advance for any feedback.
Chris

If your valve blocks were leaking, you’d have sag overnight. You’re positive there’s no sag at all?
