Hi All,

I just rejoined the LR family, I used to own a D1 and had to sell it a few years ago. I recently purchased a used 05 LR3 for my spouse. Now the fun begins and I need to replace one of the front parking lights any tips?

You should see the round gray plastic caps on the backside of the headlamp. There are three, one for high beam, one for low beam, and one for the parking lamp. Remove cap, remove bulb, replace. The bulbs are retained by a spring clip that might launch with considerable velocity into the nether regions of your engine bay, never to be seen again. I suggest holding a cloth or towel over the opening when you pinch open the spring clip....

Funny thing, my parking lamp just burnt out also. Do we need to remove the headlight assembly to get to the parking light or can we just reach a hand back there with everything still in place?

As easy as it is to remove the assembly I would remove it to change lights. I think the only light you can change easily with out removing it is the main beam bulb..
