Looks good to me. It's almost same shape as my rasta plate but mine has the primary mount bolts going through the frame cross member.

I'm thinking it must be a difference between how the exhaust is set up between an LR3 and an LR4.

I'm determined to make it work, however. I may go to an exhaust shop and have them take off that bracket, or maybe even see if they can tuck the exhaust pipe up a little tighter.

I am not familiar with the design of the 2014+ bumper down there (2013 here), but your photos are confusing the heck out of me. There are several side shots of the Asfir front guard (I think), seemingly mounted in place, but the removable bumper cover for the tow ring is showing through the hole - was it not removed prior to installation? I don't see how the Asfir guard could sit nearly flush against the lower bumper as intended with that cover in place - which may or may not have contributed to the damage you seem to have suffered, not sure. At the very least, I imagine your approach angle would be negatively affected.

Regardless, other than the weight savings, the nice thing about an aluminum plate is that, unless it is cracked or bent beyond reason, it can generally be removed, hammered back in shape and reinstalled.

Finally, those silly aerodynamic plastic "winglets" in front of the tire should be removed if you are going to do any type of serious or semi-serious off-roading, as they will just get in the way and probably tear / break the first time they brush against an obstacle other than grass...

@umbertob, you’re right, the ”fishbone” sidewings have indeed got damaged. I meant to replace them at first but I guess you’re right, they’ll just break again… I’m ”liking” your post to keep for future reference as I’m not doing these things myself, I’ll have someone take another go at that rear guard...

@umbertob , do you have the Asfir gear guard? If so, did you have any issues with the exhaust pipe and appurtenances when mounting the gear guard?

@ryanjl, I believe my gear plate is ASFIR. See my earlier posts, though, it does not form a continuous line with the LR front guard. As to it touching the exhaust, that’s a tough cookie. At times, it seems to me like it does (and vibrates unpleasantly), then I check again and it doesn’t. Dead objects can fool humans.

Here are a couple photos of my Rasta transmission plate in the middle, and engine plate front. Not sure if it helps at all but you can see the bolt points at least. I bent upward some of the trans plate where it's close to the slider but otherwise all the Rasta stuff was an easy direct fit.

The two larger hex heads here in the middle are M14 that I sourced to refurbish the M12 that stripped out of the welded nut/plate you can't see above this cross member. I tapped out the plate to 16 and it's good so far. In hindsight should've used fine pitch but it's done now.

Trans plate uses 4 of the 6 potential holes but engine plate uses all 6. Front transition lip uses 6 also but was customized to interface with the ARB bumper . It's designed to just mesh with factory bumper cover.
