i have been searching the internet lately for these as well. not too many options. i really like the rasta setup the most. my spare is full size and too small to fit under the truck, so i have it bungeed down against the driver side panel in the rear cargo area and built a little "table" to fit snugly against it that is the height of back seat to cover up all my junk in the rear cargo area.

I carry 2 spares. One under and one in the cargo area when I go to more remote areas.

You can fit the full size under the car. I have BF goodrich 265/65/18 that are 31.7" new and I only had to deflate to about 25 pounds to get it up which is more then enough pressure to get me down the road to fill it up more if I don't have my compressor on board. Removing the plastic mask will give you more room.

And this is exactly why I built my own rear bumper!!! 3K is bullsh**. That same bumper could be built here in the states for 1/2 that.

Any chance you'd want to build one for me? ;)

i checked with british pacific to get an idea of how much the rasta swing away tire carrier runs in case some day i win the lottery and can afford it. they however said that it has been discontinued due to poor sales. i guess they shouldn't have covered up that right rear tail light.

Gents,

Working on one for mine right now. I spoke with the fabricator to see if he could sell these. He was interested. Stay tuned...more to come.

Side note - I am developing one that will be similar to the Rasta style. Meaning - it will mount to the stock rear bump frame.

this may be a WUS reqest, but can the back-up alert be viable in this replacement bumper?

Just so we are all on the same page - yes, this is a WUSS request. :bootyshak

Seriously - I would assume so. The distance control starts chirping a good ways before you hit something. If you are going that close, you are ignoring it anyway IMO.
