AC Fan Stopped While Driving

Driving on a hot day, AC is cooling fine, then the interior fan stopped. There was an odor of something burning that lasted about a minute. When you turn the fan on, nothing from the front, but it's still blowing cold air through the back seat ceiling vents. Fuses, relays all look good. AC compressor is still working. Trying to determine what it could be. Blower fan? Resister? Any help would be appreciated.

My guess would be the resistor.
With the ignition off. Take the pollen filter out and see if you can rotate the blower fan easily.
