Speaking of 2011s, a couple of Update Prior to Sale notices I posted on a RRS forum also affect early build LR4s here in North America, particularly if you recently took delivery of one:
Quality Enhancement Program:

Navigation Map Updates and Routing Improvements:

Navigation on the move... Finally.

I just had my car at the dealer and they said that my car does not qualify for these updates. I took delivery of my 2011 LR4 in October, but the VIN is within the ranges shown. They claim that my car is not shown as "eligible in DDW", which is some database that Land Rover keeps track of. He said it's possible that my car will show eligible at some point (they may approve cars in phases), but he's not sure.
He said it's also possible that I may already have the update (though I doubt it). Anyone know how to check if the update has been done? I'd really like to get that NAV update. Thanks.
I have no idea what "torqued to 13lbs ft" means (maybe my husband would know - he's way smarter than me). I was thinking more along the lines of clicking some buttons on my NAV to see if I can get a version number or something. Or if there was a feature added to NAV, I can see if I have it.If you have a torque wrench you could try seeing if your windsheild wipers are torqued to 13lbs ft. That might be one step...
