My 06 LR3 V8 cranks but won't start intermittently, starts after sitting overnight, seems to be after driving in the rain or washing it, replaced crank sensor because I saw in another thread this may be the issue, happened again today.

Hhm weird you could try accessing you engibe wire harness and mist it a bit in an area the try and start and so on. But I would have a good look for at you ignition wires or your crank sensor wires or connector if water find a lil brake and shorts the ignition fire sense signal it won't start. Do you have a obd scanner ?

wiring splice in right hand door sill?

Here is a link worth at least looking at. The post of merit is the roverguy7 post where he talks about a splice I never knew about that can give problems.

In your case, it probably is not the solution, however it may be worth looking at regardless.

To get the link above to work, take out the three spaces I inserted and then paste into a browser page. This forum likes to block solutions.
