Selling: Xlifter, Gap IID, Hitch Adapter

Not shocked by the lack of interest here...probably headed to ebay soon if anybody sees this post and actually wants any of this...

Selling: Xlifter, Gap IID, Hitch Adapter

Hey all - had to part ways with my LR4. I'm selling the following: GapIID Tool G3 - used once - it is registered so it will need to be transferred. $450 firm Xlifter kit - it was installed for ~5 months. $450 firm OEM Hitch adapter - $300 firm

    Aftermarket Carplay/Android Auto

They stick on over the top of the originals. No need to pull anything off.

    Aftermarket Carplay/Android Auto

The dial covers are aftermarket and I always forget they're not OEM. I put those on because I was concerned about the rubber dials failing over time. They use 3M tape to stay put and I have never removed them to clean and I probably never will. Qiilu Air Conditioner Radio Volume Button Knob...

    Aftermarket Carplay/Android Auto

I think I finally came up with the perfect solution for me and my LR4. I bought an aftermarket 10.26" Apple Carplay/Android Auto unit. It does Bluetooth handoff for music and handles wireless for the carplay/AA so there's a little bit of a hiccup if you have your phone auto connect to the LR4...

    Blinking headlight

I would highly doubt that it would. I'd say the odds of that happening are very low and rare. I just had one go out and the other was melted on the base so was probably soon to go out. I replaced both with the Sylvania Silverstar Ultra and they are so much brighter than the oems that I had...

Black Friday sale (Gap IID Tool)

Totally a great deal and I finally bought one even though I don't need it yet. :) I just did a little refresh on my '13 at 80k where I put on new Romik boards, new tailgate actuator, and x-lifter. I need the GAP tool so I can swap out the headlights and other little things...not to mention...

Modernize the infotainment without hacking :P

I saw your post about this and wanted to do the same but the caveats you named about no Bluetooth, volume issues, etc had me thinking there must be better. The Fold 4 is a powerhouse and no need to have android auto as it just works natively.

Modernize the infotainment without hacking :P

I did that a few years ago before giving up on it. My issue is the iPad Mini just can't handle everything as expected and even split screen would crash. It would struggle running music and maps at the same time so I gave up on that. Here's the link to the iPad Mini Post I did...

Modernize the infotainment without hacking :P

Hey all - I keep seeing all these 3rd party options to rip and replace the infotainment system, screens, etc. There's always this fear of "what am I doing to ruin my ride?" thought that grips me when I look at any of these products. I've been using a vent mounted phone charging holder for...

    Indy Shop Over-Charging?

Get a mityvac and do your own changes. It takes about 15 min and you barely get dirty doing it. Totally worth it.

LR4 - Is there an equivalent in ride/driving experience?

I've been looking at those but considering a RR L405 for my daily over that.

LR4 - Is there an equivalent in ride/driving experience?

It's about the same as the D5. Nearly flat and with a proper mattress it would be pretty good sleep space.

LR4 - Is there an equivalent in ride/driving experience?

I'm in the same boat right now looking to add another ride to the home as the kids are getting to that point. We're keeping the LR4 (2013 with 77k) because it's just such an incredible vehicle. I've been doing some research and quite a few test drives lately: Defender 110: Much more active...

Side Steps Nerf Bars Running Boards

ugh...I'm with you on this. I had the OEM steps and they were fine until they rotted off...I replaced them with identical aftermarket that are now rotting off. I want something that's more like a hoop step/nerf bar. Eventually this might be an overlander rig but for now I don't need crazy...

    Range Rover Cracked Windshield

I had to replace 2 on my LR4 in 6 months recently. Both were rock chips but the second was barely something that should have cracked it. The second installer had worked at a LR/Aston Martin dealer in the past replacing windshields. He flat out told me that the Pilkington (OEM) brand is very...

    Front seat armrest

True but they include the bracket and it looks like it's just a bolt in. Not without a little frustration to install but at least it's an option

    Front seat armrest

Well, I answered my own question via some digging. The hardware is in the seats and you have to pull them to install them.

    Front seat armrest

Any chance you can feel the connection point through the seat covering? I'm wondering if maybe they just didn't offer this yet left it buried behind the cover

    Front seat armrest

Hey all - I'm debating a Defender to add to the collection. I'm curious about the front seat adjustable arm rests. They aren't offered as an option yet I see them being sold online as aftermarket and it looks like a direct install. Are the seats ready for those already and LR just doesn't offer...

    Overlander Question

Any vehicle is prone to breaking down from any possible fault. It feels like a disproportionate amount of LR4s have issues but that's likely only because people come online with issues to find fixes or complain rather than come to celebrate the vehicle. I bought mine used 5 years ago and...

    Goodbye stock side steps!

Long term report...the magnetic aluminum units have started to rot off. Almost got 4 years out of the $108 set. I'm back on the hunt for longer term replacements that look a little more rugged. I'm almost at 75K miles on my 2013 so it's time for a few custom upgrades. :P

    Discovery (LR5) at the 'Ring

Yet everybody claims these have "vague" steering. Wonder if they've watched this?
