LR4 oil cooler level of effort involved estimate? For 2013 V8

It could be 8 hours: A couple breaks , a two hour lunch, a nap and then knocking off early..

Is it ok to start towing with 100,000 miles on the engine?

Air springs are awesome but that being said if I am towing those monsters I want wheelbase and capacity so 3/4 or 1 ton truck. We almost had a side gust off the mountains flip a 30' TT being pulled by a 4 door F350. One side of the TT tires were 1-2' in the air and the rear truck tire was...

LR part number for TPMS receivers? F & R ?

It decided to fix itself lol. The only things I can see breaking in this system is the TPMS receiver or the CJB. The sensors in the wheels were replaced about 3 years back so I can't see them being the cause.

Huge activity. I was wrong... It's a literal beehive of activity. :)

LR part number for TPMS receivers? F & R ?

Each wheel well? My shop manual only showed one front and one back. 4 makes more sense.

LR part number for TPMS receivers? F & R ?

Its not the sensors as I use a winter set without and I get a different error message. I can grab the TPMS control unit from a Range Rover at the picker for $10. Unless I am mistaken there is only (tire sensors, two receivers, a control unit) making up the whole system. I agree with you it is...

LR part number for TPMS receivers? F & R ?

update. I am willing to bet it is the control module. Not horribly priced at $130 Cdn. Replacement is a pita but straightforward. Located under the headliner at the front. May be able to get to it without full headliner removal.

LR part number for TPMS receivers? F & R ?

No it is not the tires or the sensors contained within because I run two sets of wheels (summer and winter). The winters don't have sensors at all and I get a different message (TPMS malfunction). This is why I hate fancy nanny systems. Eventually they wear out.

LR part number for TPMS receivers? F & R ?

I have a TPMS system failure warning. Looks like I have two choices. Throw some parts at it and replace the receivers (It looks like the 2010 has one in the drivers wheel well and rear passenger wheel well) OR buy a IID code reader and turn the damn thing off..

    2013 auto high beam assist

IDK it seems to work well in mine. With the kids driving it who knows what they do. Lights just sit in auto with HBA activated. I do notice the LR3 lights are not only stronger but they pivot more than the LR4.

Anyone end up buying their Grenadier order

I doubt there will be a D6 in an ICE format. LR pulled the diesels for LR in 2022? and we didn't get the good D300. Defender will now be under attack from the Toyota onslaught of the new 4Runner/Land Cruiser/Lexus GX550. LR does not have the development budget to stay with Toyota. LR will be a...

Anyone end up buying their Grenadier order

Until you can't find parts in North America for your unicorn euro diesel. The fact of the matter is the D5 was a step backwards and the sales reflect that which is why you are in a D4 forum telling us about how great your D5 is. There is no activity in the D5 forum :) Then again perhaps you are...

Anyone end up buying their Grenadier order

The market is never wrong. People don't care for the D5 and that is why they never sold in meaningful numbers. From the "sitting in a bathtub" seating position to the cheap one piece liftgate LR flubbed it.

Rather than replacing timing chains etc you can just get a crate Chevy 572 CI. Weird. Link Below is to the Chevy performance page. https://www.chevrolet.com/performance-parts/crate-engines/big-block/zz-572-720-r

The Toyota 5.7L is rock solid. I would take it or the GM 6.2L in a heartbeat over the LR 5.0L. Making similar power with more cubic inches is not a bad thing. Under stressed.

    2016 LR4 Dead... need help!

I don't believe your other vehicles listed have smart alternators while the LR4 does (in an effort to improve FI). My LR3 is fine but the LR4 if subjected to short trips with heavy e-loads (windshield, 2-4 heated seats, heated steering wheel) does not keep the battery at 100%. It will eventually...
