LR3 pair of lower control arms / tie rods
I have a pair of front LCA's and tie rods from my LR3. These have about 85k miles on them. I kept them thinking I would replace the bushings and install when their replacements wear out, but selling the LR3 so don't need them. I am in the Denver area and can meet within a reasonable distance... -

Drove the new Discovery and I'm totally confused now.
I had the opportunity to drive a new Disco HSE with the diesel. Overall, very sad (but not surprised) to say that is was pretty bland. No other word for it really. Diesel has a lot of clatter on start up and idle, much more than say an X5 or Cayenne diesel. Throttle lag off the line then some... -

A few thoughts from an owner with combined ~150k miles in an LR3 and SCV6 LR4. We've had our LR4 loaded with people, dog, luggage, and drag from skis on the roof, and the SCV6 has been excellent. Over the last year or two 2013s have held remarkably firm in value. We looked before getting our 2015, but was hard to find the right package. Looking again recently and seems they are all still $40-45k depending on mileage. -

Front Diff?
^ A tech at my dealership misdiagnosed mine at first as a front diff bearing. As I talked them into doing a rebuild v a replacement, I confirmed it wasn't the culprit. At around 100k, lots to start worrying ($$$) about... So far I have done both hubs, LCAs and tie rods. At some point upper... -

What is the best MY for a LR4?
Most of the responses you will get will be a 2013 or 2012, last of the V8 era. Doesn't appear to be an appreciable difference in fuel economy in real world circumstances, so range is about the same but you have more power/torque. Also more likely to find one with HD package. -

I've heard of a lot of LR4s that needed LCA bushings around 35-40k. Sadly a (very expensive) wear item. -

Thanks Crash, bonus Golden pic... Nice looking 4 there, maybe will see you cruising around town. The WRG3s have amazing range without changing their feel whether 90s or subzero (as was the case this morning.) Looking forward to getting back to the 50s soon! -

Very quiet, probably quieter than the stock Pirelli's we had. Soft as well, but still some sidewall, although they should be soft and quiet with less than 20k miles on them. Rain performance was also strong, no hydroplaning that I have ever noted even in some pretty substantial downpours. Love... -
