How are roof rail nuts/thread secured?
Hey, I may be too late on this but were you only removing the trim piece to put on a roof rack? In that case those original pieces were plastic and can be pulled out with tweezers. If not then go through the steps above.- johnnwalters

Gas smell after driving. No error codes. No visible leaks.
If doing this yourself exercise caution with the bolts holding on the strap for the tank; they may be corroded. it took a day of penetrating oil on mine before they would loosen and this work was done by an independent shop.- johnnwalters

Will our LR4's be desirable in 10 - 15 years, or are they just another modern day LR?
I'll still be enjoying mine 15 years from now but I don't know if the comment will be "Hey, that's a cool vehicle!" or if it'll be "So you actually had to DRIVE a car back then?! How did you manage to keep between the lines, or slow down to not hit the vehicle in front of you?!"- johnnwalters

Low Mileage Maintenance LR4?
I'd suggest that you just keep on doing what you're doing. As long as you follow the maintenance interval schedule your LR4 should be fine. Keep the seats clean and condition the leather.- johnnwalters

Damaged Tire, Replace 1,2,4?
I would differ on putting two new tires on the rear. Put them on the front where the steering of the vehicle takes place, especially when travelling on wet roadways. Why risk your safety? Ideally if you can afford it, replace all four and absolutely have a full alignment performed.- johnnwalters

Satellite Radio Issues on 2011 LR4
I too will have signal drops which are usually due to the terrain and lasts a few seconds. (2010 LR4) Satellite signals are line of sight. I have stayed on top of the oil changes though and change it "around" 3,500 to 4,000 miles, but historically I've done that with any of my vehicles. I think that...- johnnwalters

OCD GLOVE BOX ORGANIZATION
FYI - I've never experienced a problem with EZ Pass being read when mounted to the heated windshield. This includes both the older EZ Pass as well as the newer. I also have a Peach Pass mounted on the windshield as well and that transponder is read as well.- johnnwalters
