Key fob pealing

Rain Water Leak
That's a tough one. Was the leak in the interior of the vehicle and is there evidence that it got into the monitor? (Visible moisture in the display?) The radio is actually the "brains" of the whole info-tainment system. It's possible that only the radio is damaged but it controls the display...- johnnwalters

JPJP thanks for starting this thread. My 2010 LR4 has the same problems with the door panel "leather" and the knobs. My wife just bought some knob covers that fit over the existing knobs. jwest is correct about the bolts being corroded. Depending upon the age of your vehicle and how and where it was driven, there will be a certain amount of corrosion. I needed to have the fuel sending unit replaced and it took the shop a day and a half to get all of the bolts loosened after...- johnnwalters

Things to look for on a high mileage LR4
Just my opinion but I'd also go with the 2012 HSE LUX because you'll enjoy driving it more. Don't be scared off by mileage I'm closing in on 200,00o and it's my daily driver and long hauler.
