I really like Duratrac LT275/65r18 for mixed driving. FYI - The sidewalls are too thin for airing down this heavy pig <25psi. My list: 1) M/T or aggressive A/T Tires 2) Rock sliders 3) Sump guard 4) Gap tool Have fun! Dont wheel by yourself. -

YES - Jack stands. 3 ton trucks falling on you is very unhealthy. IMHO - Squeaky struts is rare. More likely a bushing in the control arm. -

The wife's Tesla has a very cool and simple GPS based height setting. Raise it once to go over a speed bump, and it never forgets to do it next time. Wish the LR did the same. -

Poly! My 1st set of LCA polys have lasted 2x longer than all previous LR bushings and only squeaked a couple times - probably dirt. -

I have had the orange on just my LCA longer than any of my previous OEMs lasted...Love them for that. I think the ride is great, but I dont deal with the harsh New England roads. Recently/occasionally, with the windows down I can hear them squeak a little. For me, its an acceptable trade off... -
LR3 overheating
Fan clutches are notorious for going bad in LR3s, but a failed one typically causes overheat on idle or when moving slowly (for me). Could be as simple air bubble in cooling system or much MUCH worse. good luck and let us know. -

I think the bigger "hiss" he is referring to is the release of galley pressure associated with the compressor shutoff. This would happen every time you shut off the truck while the air compressor is also running. This release allows the compressor to restart more easily next time. The shorter... -

I think its the bigger of the two black hoses on the rear. I think the smaller goes to a filter behind the left tailight. Triple check everything for leaks with a spray bottle of dish soap water. good luck. -
