LR4 ARB Rear Locker is possible!
I had heard that there was a rear DIFF revision mid-model year and ARB was getting complaints that the locker would not work in SOME LR4s. ARB could not pin down which LR4s were and which were not compatible, so they pulled the LR4 from the list entirely. The L8 bolt-n-go option gets around... -

I just replaced my front block for 2nd time....If that is the problem, then best practice is to also good to rebuild the desiccant in the air compressor. The desiccant beads tend to pulverize into a fine powder that gums up the blocks. I just did that too ;-) -

Measure each corner hub to fender height. Pull EAS brain fuse(F26E) or leave a door open to prevent self-leveling. Let sit until there is measurable differences. If one corner sinks most, one axle both sides, or entire truck equally, is three different possible issues. Report back the... -

Timing is everything - I bought my 2006 LR3 in 2008 for $24K :-D Gas was above $4.50/gal and no one was buying large SUVs. Those Bronco pics are just artist speculative renders. -

Go for it! Admittedly I have not done RCR, but I have ridden many of the same trails. I would suggest: Sliders, Winch (Not harbor freight), 33" or 34" tires, and Lucky 2" strut spacers are best, GAP IIDTool. Poly front bushings seem fine. Too many people with rear poly have snapped... -

Good point. All my Duratrac sidewall cuts occurred in KY, NC, VA, PA, WV, VT, and NY. All very rocky. Maybe the perfect tire for FL and UT Jeeps and LR# are apples and oranges. My buddy with JKU hates same Duratrac E rated tires for harsh ride. Same tire rides great on LC80 and LR3. -

The duratracs will end up casting you more! After 10, I give up on them. Almost every trip I lose 1 or even 2 new tires to a sidewall cut. Cant air them down <30psi with out increasing the risking too greatly. Im probably moving to BFG KM3, since most of my miles are just adventure trips at... -

You may have to pull out the leveling fuses (F26) to prevent the other 2 or 3 corners from following the bad one(s) down to the ground. The rear valve block is right behind the very dirty Left/rear air strut: Replacement is pretty straight forward. Some people have had success rebuilding... -

Worth upgrade LR3 to LR4?
PSA - I replaced my O2 sensors and my 150K mile LR3 is peppy again. I though the sluggishness was from all the armor and 33" wheels, but a bigger part was it was poor fuel ratio. -

I understand the frustration, but AL and plastic is ubiquitous across the board for all manufactures. Cheap and light seem to be opposites of durable.
