I’ve never really agreed with buying 2 tires at a time( personal preference) but in all honesty how much is it really going to save you by running those tires another 10k. Whine while accelerating/decelerating
Any answer on what the noise is? I’ve got the exact same issue (170,000) only difference is that mine can be heard in park too that why I was ruling out TC &diffs I’m really hoping it’s a bearing on a pulley but am almost to nervous to start trouble shooting.... sounds labor intensive and expensive -
Whirring/buzzing noise in 06 HSE
I had an 06 l322 Range Rover supercharged and I had a noise similar, very annoying, no check engine lights( noise was somewhere in the engine bay, not transmission) after pinpointing where it was coming from with a stethoscope. it was the alternator. swapped it out with a new one and everything...- Krill

"Smart key not found" help!!!
it probably doesn't help but my key fob stopped unlocking and locking my 2011 LR 4 out of the blue. same thing, I could start it by putting it under the steering column. took it to the dealer they replaced the battery for free and tested the remote( turns out the remote was fine) it was... -

2011 lr4 tires with 19 rims
I’ve got the Goodyear duratrac. They are a bit noisier than the street tires I had( for obvious reasons) but honestly they aren’t bad at all. The little bit of noise you hear is very low pitch( not an annoying whine) the grip these tires have is INSANE and life wise I’ve put these on 4 ford... -
2010 LR4 - Scraping Noise When Turning
I had the EXACT same noise only would happen while backing out of my driveway. I brushed a little anti-seize on the 2 spots and haven’t had a issue ( it’s been probably 10,000 miles and quite a bit of mud sand and flooded roads) sorry for the crappy pictures. Hope this helps -
How many miles on your LR4?
2011 LR 4 HD 168,000 and not a single issue. Just put Goodyear wrangler duratracts on and now it’s unstoppable off road
