We've owned our LR4 since 2011 and experienced no issues with reliability. It will cost more than a Toyota to maintain. Pads and rotors last me about 20k miles. A oil change requires a $40 filter and almost 9 quarts of synthetic oil. We chose the LR4 over the 4Runner back in 2011 and are very... -
non-LR4-related question, but asking for info
We get about 20,000 miles out of rotors and pads. If you turn the factory rotors they tend to warp before you need pads again, so I just replace them all at the same time. -

I purchased the wheels from PerformanceAlloys.com. They had the best price at the time. I do use the factory TPMS sensors without issue. I typically run 47PSI on the street and the TPMS light doesn't come on until around 35PSI. Off road I run 25PSI so the light stays on when I'm off road. -

Should I trade in my 20inch rims?
I have the BFG AT KO2 in 265/65/18 and I'm extremely impressed both on and off road -
Trail overheats my brakes and HDC switches off
I always turn the HDC off when off road and use the low range and down shifting to control downhill speed. I've never experienced brake fade but have alwayd been concerned that the HDC relies too heavily on braking -

I would love to see how the receiver is mounted and hidden on the front and how the winch cradle impacts approach angle. Could the winch cradle be left on for offroading and removed the remainder of the time. -

I would certainly take it to Land Rover and point it out. Even if they don't replace the pulley, if it fails down the road and there is record of your complaint during the warranty period they are more likely to cover the part after the warranty expires. My Calipers are really rusty on my 2011... -
