First Impressions (Going from MY13 LR4/NAV8 to MY16 LR4/SCV6)
Im also finding the knob to not be an issue. I dont look down anymore to make changes. Reverse or to Sport are no problem, just a bit of brain retraining and no longer even think about it. -

I snapped the male pin also. Ill have to remove it one day and see if the auto parts store carry anything that will work. -

Front Runner rack mounting question
Could either of you measure the height of the rack above the highest part of the roofline when you have a chance? I really want to get the 3/4 length front runner but live in the city with a tight garage and low height parking garages everywhere. -

2016 LR4 Intelligent stop/start not working
Strange, I just noticed mine also is not working anymore. Also a 2016. Noticed it while driving today. Same as you, hitting the button does toggle on/off but nothing changes. Im ok if it stays like this. -

LR5 Release Updates?
Overall not as bad as I was expecting. Im not hating the exterior and im thinking in person it will look better. I was worried it was going to grow too much in size to go over 200" in length. In the end it grew about 5" in length and pretty close to same height and width. Might still fit in...- jettore

Didn't get a response over on LR4, figured I would try here since Im guessing they are the same part. Well, I managed to break a tail light retaining clip when removing it to install trailer harness. Anyone have a source for them or are they pretty standard and easy to find in auto parts... -

LR5 Release Updates?
Might be an illusion but it looks like there is a lot of overhang behind the rear wheels. Looks like it has plumped up in dimensions. I love the size of the LR4, one reason we bought it. Fits in our city house sized garage and works well on the small streets yet has plenty of interior room.- jettore

Thoughts/experience on Mechanical Breakdown Insurance
Im going to add the Geico coverage before the 18 month from new limit kicks in. Seems like its good coverage from some online reviews. Ball joints do seem to wear earlier so Im figuring this makes sense for us on this vehicle. -

RRS Front Brake Upgrade
From another RRS forum found that there were two different Brembo kits for the first gen RRS. They change around 2010 which is close to the change from LR3 to LR4, so maybe the second kit follows with some changes made to the LR4 that followed over to the RRS. I'd look for a local owner with... -

Showoff Your LR4

Roof rack/platform for long factory tracks...
Im going front runner route(probably the 3/4 and just leaving it on). I dont have factory rails but if I did I still think I would go this way anyway and sell the rails. It's low profile and wont add much additional height and I think the 3/4 will give me plenty of additional storage. Same... -

Warranties
Thanks goblue95 for the Geico info on their coverage. I'm gonna add that after the LR hits its one year anniversary. Cost is low and it seems reading some reviews it works pretty well. It's $33.87 per 6 months currently for me. -

10 days new - water on the floor
There's another thread on here about sunroof drain tube problems causing leaks. Not sure if the problem still exists in 2016 models but it might. Might be worth checking out and having the dealer check. I'm curious to hear the resolution since I have a 2016 also. -

LR4 sales are on a tear
I think the upcoming body style change might be bumping up sales also. It worked for us at least. My wife loves the body style and has been wanting one for a few years. The "fear" of what the changes might be for the future model motivated us to get a 2016 before it would be too late. -

Picking up new LR4--what should I know?
Depending on where you live keep an eye on Craigslist for a hitch. I picked a used one up for $250 from a Range Rover owner who never used it.
