With my last fill up I am getting fuel fumes in the cabin...

Think I might be running into the same issue as I occasionally smell fumes on fill ups. Is there any way to visually verify if it's the lock ring without pulling everything out?

    Crossover Pipe - Replace Pre-Emptively?

That's what I thought. Thanks for confirming!

    Control Arm bushings

For those of you who have done lower control arm replacement, did you reuse the hardware or purchase new? I figured I would just purchase new as piece of mind, but found out that the 4 bolts and washers, 6 nuts and 2 hex nuts run a total of around $110. Also a local shop mentioned they normally...

    Crossover Pipe - Replace Pre-Emptively?

Anyone have the part number(s) for the crossover pipe for the 5.0?

Point me to some Black 18” or 20” rims for LR4

Only downside is I still have my set of 19’s sitting around that I still need to sell. Perfect condition with TPMS if anyone is interested :).

Point me to some Black 18” or 20” rims for LR4

I was in the same position. Decided against Range Rover wheels and kept hunting for LR4 20’s from the black design pack. After a lot of searching I was lucky enough To find a set of five, in good condition with OEM TPMS. My research led me wanting to run a slightly larger size with no lift or...

    Rear Wiper Issue

Haven’t had a chance to check it out, but if a new motor is necessary, dynamat is an interesting thought. We had squeaks that were driving us insane when we first bought it. Adjusted both side hatch and center contact points and solved the problem. Couldn’t hurt to add some sound deadening though.

    Rear Wiper Issue

Great idea! I’ll pop the cap off and take a look. Fingers crossed. I was able to located a new motor for around $200 shipped. Anyone know how much of a pain it is to swap a motor if it comes to that. Also confirmed dealer says right around $500 to replace.

    Rear Wiper Issue

Pretty much what I figured from the start... and was hoping wasn't true. New motors are like $350. Plus labor and you're looking at over $500. I do (did) use that wiper all the time though. Super helpful in Seattle.

    Rear Wiper Issue

I’ve noticed lately that when it does actually turn on, it’s struggles to wipe. It kind of bounces and shudders across the window. So seems more like a motor issue than electrical.

    Rear Wiper Issue

I assumed wiper motor the whole time, just wanted to explore any option first since those are $$$.

    Rear Wiper Issue

Nope, front wipers are working fine. Rear wiper turned on today when putting into reverse (front wipers were on), but I couldn’t get the rear to work manually last time I drove.

    Rear Wiper Issue

Wipers are seemingly working less often as time goes on, but they still randomly work! Can’t find any pattern to when they actually work.

    Rear Wiper Issue

I've had the vehicle for several months and no issues with the rear wiper until recently. One evening it was on and working fine, then apparently stopped mid wipe. It eventually started working after messing with it. Now it will only work at seemingly random intervals. Any ideas? Maybe...

    Showoff Your LR4

Some before and after. Added OEM Black Design Pack grill, side vents and 20” style 510 wheels with 265 Terra Grapper G2’s. Looks so much better and surprisingly newer/more modern. I’m enjoying this vehicle even more now. I find my myself wanting to drive this more than my M3’s at times. It’s the...

    Questions About 20’s

Update: I picked up a Porter Cable heat gun for only $19 on Amazon. Spent some time on the fender liner today and issue completely resolved! Tires clear with some room to spare. I’m sure I could get additional clearance if I messed around more, but no need at this point. Thanks for the heat...

Steering wheel shaking after rotor/pads replacement

Is that clunk a clear indication of control arm bushings? I hear the clunk on the right side going quickly over bumps. I assumed it was bushings.

    Questions About 20’s

Had a feeling. Although, I've had luck with a hair dryer on other things like removing emblems, etc. Guess I head over to Harbor Freight or just Amazon one for about the same price.

    Questions About 20’s

I’ll probably give it a try this weekend. I don’t have a heat gun, but I’ll see if I can get anywhere with a hair dryer. The plastic is pretty thick though, so I’m thinkning a heat gun might be necessary.

    Questions About 20’s

Some pics of the rubbing contact points on the drivers side at full lock to the right. Seems like clearance must have been super tight even with stock tires sizes, so I’m wondering if something is off. And plenty of clearance on the passenger side.

    Questions About 20’s

Great ideas! I can’t imagine much rubbing since there’s only what, .5” increase with 265’s width over stock? I was only under there for a few seconds, so I can’t recall the exact contact point. You might be right in your assessment. I’ll try to take pics when I check it out again.

    Questions About 20’s

Yeah, hoping it’s just something like that. Worst case, if I remember correctly, could just trim the liner at the contact point. There wasn’t much snow on the roads, so didn’t really get a chance to test those conditions. I just played around in some deeper stuff off-road, so for the most part...

    Questions About 20’s

Aside from the rubbing issue, the switch to 20’s, 265 G2’s and black design pack pieces does make the vehicle look sooo much better.

    Questions About 20’s

It's rubbing here (see pic), but on the driver's side. The liner was not flush against the frame, but out a few inches. Again, not sure if it's the same on the other side or not. Didn't have a chance to look. I'll post findings once I have a chance to get under there and look at everything. It...
