Rear Wiper Issue
Haven’t had a chance to check it out, but if a new motor is necessary, dynamat is an interesting thought. We had squeaks that were driving us insane when we first bought it. Adjusted both side hatch and center contact points and solved the problem. Couldn’t hurt to add some sound deadening though. -

Great idea! I’ll pop the cap off and take a look. Fingers crossed. I was able to located a new motor for around $200 shipped. Anyone know how much of a pain it is to swap a motor if it comes to that. Also confirmed dealer says right around $500 to replace. -

Pretty much what I figured from the start... and was hoping wasn't true. New motors are like $350. Plus labor and you're looking at over $500. I do (did) use that wiper all the time though. Super helpful in Seattle. -

I’ve noticed lately that when it does actually turn on, it’s struggles to wipe. It kind of bounces and shudders across the window. So seems more like a motor issue than electrical. -

Update: I picked up a Porter Cable heat gun for only $19 on Amazon. Spent some time on the fender liner today and issue completely resolved! Tires clear with some room to spare. I’m sure I could get additional clearance if I messed around more, but no need at this point. Thanks for the heat... -

Is that clunk a clear indication of control arm bushings? I hear the clunk on the right side going quickly over bumps. I assumed it was bushings. -

Had a feeling. Although, I've had luck with a hair dryer on other things like removing emblems, etc. Guess I head over to Harbor Freight or just Amazon one for about the same price. -

I’ll probably give it a try this weekend. I don’t have a heat gun, but I’ll see if I can get anywhere with a hair dryer. The plastic is pretty thick though, so I’m thinkning a heat gun might be necessary. -

Some pics of the rubbing contact points on the drivers side at full lock to the right. Seems like clearance must have been super tight even with stock tires sizes, so I’m wondering if something is off. And plenty of clearance on the passenger side. -

Great ideas! I can’t imagine much rubbing since there’s only what, .5” increase with 265’s width over stock? I was only under there for a few seconds, so I can’t recall the exact contact point. You might be right in your assessment. I’ll try to take pics when I check it out again. -

Yeah, hoping it’s just something like that. Worst case, if I remember correctly, could just trim the liner at the contact point. There wasn’t much snow on the roads, so didn’t really get a chance to test those conditions. I just played around in some deeper stuff off-road, so for the most part... -

Aside from the rubbing issue, the switch to 20’s, 265 G2’s and black design pack pieces does make the vehicle look sooo much better. -

It's rubbing here (see pic), but on the driver's side. The liner was not flush against the frame, but out a few inches. Again, not sure if it's the same on the other side or not. Didn't have a chance to look. I'll post findings once I have a chance to get under there and look at everything. It...
