Thanks for the advice, I ordered the kit that includes bolts, full set of rotors/pads showed up the other day so I am close to getting ready for the carnage. -

My new to me 2011 clanks a little when braking and I have determined it is the lower left control arm so I will just replace both control arms with factory rubber bushings not poly. Who has replaced the lowers in the garage and is there anything to look out for besides rusted bolts? -

Rotor wear advice
To answer your original LoL, yes I have scuffed up the rotors with emery cloth and installed new pads with zero issues. It seems people now days read to much and worry them selves sick instead of just doing it. -

My 2011 came with one key, what is the cheapest way to get a replacement or is this a dealer only item? -

Ask the dealer? I would rather reach out to the friendly folks on this great forum before I call JONNY 5 at the dealer who would rather soak me for more $$$ requesting I bring the vehicle in. -
Rotor wear advice
I just don't get it, if there is enough material left then have them turned, now if new rotors are only a few dollars more then buy the new rotors and later on have your old one's turned for your next brake job. For me I have always gone with affordable rotors as long as they meet OE standard. -
Approaching end of lease...decision time
My LR3 and my LR4 both hold onto 1st gear driving off slowly. -
