Seafoam had zero to duo with bad valve guides or seals. Poor ENGINE design HAS EVERYTHING TO DO WITH BAD VALVE GUIDES/SEALS. -

Got the LR4 back this morning and wow, sharp snappy smooth to sum it up. The only thing I can't understand is why both heads had several cracked valve guides and is that common? -

I have been using my ultra gauge for just over a year now and it is a engine saver, I have my temp alarm set to 210, last summer Vegas hit 112-116 is some parts but my temp never goes above 190 driving and idle in drivethru never went above 208. The alarm feature is the best feature. -
Tire Sensor?
My wife 08'RR tire sensor goes off randomly and Land Rover confirmed the controller is bad and that sensors in the wheels are all working. Removing rusted-in OEM tow hitch
I went full retard on mine, nothing worked, from heat to hammer so I drilled a small hole in bottom where the ram thing slides, used a good hardened punch and beat it out and welded the hole shut when done. The slide pin was rusted in place. -

Check Engine, DTC Codes and Diagnostic scanner for LR4
Have you tested the alternator?Check cold voltage and then start the vehicle and recheck to voltage, my R3 and R4 have both shown random codes with a bad alternator giving out fluctuating voltage. -

2011 LR4 Misfire/rough idle
Doesn't oil pressure affect the tensioner? Like if the ratcheting has failed but oil pressure is high enough to take up the slack when the engine is warmed up? Or am I totally wrong lol... -
Should I get this LR4?
Depends on how much they are asking for the LR4, I just had my timing system replaced for $3500 and had them replace all the cooling system components then a week after taking delivery I took it back and they had to replace the driver valve cover so all in Im setting at $5400. My car is a 2011...
