I had the same thought a few days ago! I had thought about seeing if markforged could 3D print an aluminum one...I’m guessing it’d be costly to make, but sub $500, it almost be worth it to me.- scott schmerge

I’d say do it. Most of the time when the front pipe goes, it really goes. Mine went while at the shop (fortunately). They had it running and were checking other things. Possibly the vacuum pump on the front of the engine right near alternator...mine has a slight leak from the gasket. Whining from the engine Whats going on? What part do I need to replace?

Shouldn’t take all day. I’d say probably 1.5 to 2 hours total. Watch the video once or twice to get your bearings. I had to just figure it out which took me a bit longer and still (including the videoing) I was in a total of about 3 hours.- scott schmerge

Compomotive PD 1881 finish delamination
Seems like a quality control problem with Compos. You guys just helped me make my purchase decision to the tuffant, especially Compo doesn’t stand behind their product. Premium brands are usually quick to make it right. Surprised by this.- scott schmerge

You can tell him I was on the list to buy compos in a month or so...now will be going with the tuffant. I would never think a company like this would not stand behind their product. Start truck, run until fan comes on with heat (front and back) on high. Open bleed valves on both the reservoir and coolant pipe next to battery. Leaking water??
Easy fix. Sunroof drains clogged. Use a spool of weed eater line. YouTube it. Fixed mine in 5 minutes. Alternatively if you have a compressor you can use air to unclog it. I have not tried this method.- scott schmerge

Diagnostic Tool options/differences
My understanding is ILand is not vin locked but is model locked LR3/4 though is one category. I own a gap iid but ILand seems like a viable alternative and is a bit less expensive. The guys over at AB are hit or miss and I never get a response if I have a technical question. I mean never...so...- scott schmerge
