LR3 Wheel Locks
so, i came out to the parking garage this morning and saw this tahoe parked next to my LR3. i've never used wheel locks before. does anybody have any recommendations on where to get them from? i've found a few sets online, but wonder how easy it is for the thiefs to have the "key" for them. -
OEM Driving Lights
i bought a used A frame w/ the OEM driving lights already mounted on it. i installed the A frame a while back, but i still haven't wired the lights up due to lack of motivation. i didn't know that the dealer would have to activate them. that makes me even less inclined to wire them... -
Cooper Zeon LTZ on LR3
yup, 286/60/18s on stock 18" 10 spoke wheels. the discount tire i went to told me they wouldn't fit. i told them to just put them on. they work fine. i did get a bit of rubbing on the wiring in the drivers wheel well when in access, but i moved it and it is fine now. getting the full spare... -

thanks man! we did have a good time. the rack is actually the factory LR Expedition Rack and it does allow the sun roof to open all the way. the word is that they aren't making them anymore. i found mine used on craigslist fairly cheap. the rack has a "second tier" and front fairing... -

in the words of the all knowing Borat...."great success!" cut the bumpers and bolts off. got the tire wedged up in there at 5 psi. also, was able to get my hitch on with about an 1/8" clearance from the tire. now time for a beer. -

i have given up trying to "unscrew" them. the rubber bumpers just spin on the bolt now. yes, cutting was my next plan. did you leave your plastic guard off for good? i would like to, but i don't know how how that exhaust gets, and if it could damage the tire in any way. thanks for the help... -

i put the rear covers on about 4.5 yrs ago and they were a bit of a pain to install for such a small add on. probaby took 1.5-2.0 hrs. -

Fading Plastic
i washed the truck the morning b/4 putting the forever black on. i'll probably wash it next week and see if it evens it out a bit. i am not a huge fan of the streaks, but it is way better than my old mottled gray plastic. i didn't tape anything off when applying the forever black. i just... -

i got my battery covered by the warranty just before the warranty ran out. 15 months later after the warranty was gone, the new battery kicked the bucket and they actually covered the battery again. i would definitely have the dealer check it out. -
