I am no electronics expert My guess is that something in the LR AUX board back there messes up the input levels, and plug-in solutions retain that problem. Most of us have that volume issue when we try to use OEM AUX port in the 2nd row - the levels are just bad. When I spliced in my ebay...- douglastic

Interesting, I had't seen a plug and play before I did the $7 ebay generic board, hacked into the wiring myself behind cooler box AUX works great, one of the most enjoyable mods I've done - brings the LR3 even more up-to-date- douglastic

LR3 Transmission Leak
Is the puddle off to the driver's side up front? Could be power steering fluid. My trans leak was dead center under middle of vehicle (directly below the trans). I don't see how a leak from trans would follow anything up to front bumper.- douglastic

Really good coolant leak under the engine!
Just making sure you checked the problematic bleeder T valve (under top engine cover)? They break quite often when old. I swapped mine to brass after it broke.- douglastic

Passenger side air intake and front sunroof drain
That foam piece was mis-shapen where the elbow is on mine, so I re-formed it to allow drainage. I kept that top foam since it seemed like it would block dripping water from being sucked into the intake. Not just sound deadening - at least in my head - so I kept it. Pretty sure it was an accessory/add-on, along with the required wiring (and brake controller) Nothing included by default Used ones pop up every now and then - just make sure to get the latest (stubby version) LR040248 Not the old long one that is prone to cracking- douglastic

correct, remove cowl to get access - the problem is underneath it also unfortunately, I think the a-pillars must be removed first in order to then remove the cowl so have new clips on hand- douglastic

I had my cowl - and both A pillar trims - replaced by Safelite along with my new windshield (insurance covered all) Just took some asking on my part Also, not sure if the LR4 still has the same poor fresh air intake design as the LR3 (underneath the cowl) If so, I also highly recommend that you...- douglastic

Any spills near the shifter/terrain response controls? Is there water along the passenger door sill track (under trim and carpet)? Or, sometimes a new brake light switch is the cure.- douglastic

I disabled my TPMS using my GAP IIDtool Other tools may also be able to do this, but I don't own other tools I did not remove any hardware (except the wheel sensors of course, they are now rubber stems) My light has not come on since, as expected They didn't do it right - I don't know what...- douglastic

Why are your 2 options "coil overs or scrap yard?" so, $1500 for coils . . . or throw it in the trash? How much $ to have a trusted shop inspect - replace/repair your compressor, air tank, lines, or whatever else is needed to get that system 100%? Seems you have already done 75% that effort...- douglastic

Not a mechanic what do you guys think the diagnostic read means
If you paid for coolant system bleeding, then return to have them confirm they got it right. These are difficult to purge correctly, but you should get what you paid for.- douglastic
