Alternative Fluids
You know I went to the local dealer to get a can of PS fluid and it looked like it had been on the shelf for 20 years, covered in dust and the label had fluid stains. I guess they have all that stuff in 55 gallon drums out in the shop and few people actually buy fluids there. -

Curious how your year of Defender ownership has been as far as issues with the vehicle. Many reported problems upon delivery so I wondered a year later what problems may have come up that had to be fixed. -
Alternative Fluids
I put Royal Purple in my diffs about 2 years ago and have had no issues. I do use factory LR PS fluid. I use Castrol GTX High Mileage Synthetic 5w 30. -

You really need to read the codes. There are a lot of things that could cause your issues. Weak battery as a start? -
Fuel gauge reads full all the time
If I remember it would be difficult to cross up the electrical plug since it can only plug one way. It's more likely to me if there was a wiring cross up it would be inside the cap at the 3 plugs. Or, it could be a mechanical issue where the float of one of the sending units is jammed. Either... -

BG66 is like Sea Foam, it helps clean your fuel system. You pour it in your gas tank. And by the way, I wash under my hood... LOL. -
LR3-engine just shut down while driving

Suspension Fault after no start - replaced starter, mega fuse, now get faults.
If it has lift rods it's out of tolerance and you need to jack it up a couple of inches and it will fill up. I thought that was stupid a few weeks ago when I had the same issue but by golly it worked.
