Can you explain whining??? I am hearing a noise that may be either a bearing or my diff... id like to know exactly what your diff sounds like.
Is it a high pitched whining? A low chug wine? Does it change upon speed or wheel revolutions? etc etc
Thanks!
Just testing out my GoPro in the LR3... usually reserve it for my M5 on the track...

The funny thing about that video here in my hometown Spokanistan is that I was killing it everywhere in the LR3 on that very same day. I don't get it why very little residents can drive in these conditions. Even in my FWD VW Wagon I just put her in a low gear and its fine. :albertein
Just got a new compressor in the LR3 as my original one died at 67k. Picked it up from the dealer today and it seems like its running more than the old one did. Or at least I never noticed it before.
How often do they run on average?
Tonight when I started the car it was running for at least...
I was thinking about picking up some spare sensors.. which ones exactly do you keep with you. Im trying to figure out my plan for future failure.
From what I understand it is very very close but not 100% exact. The mounting bracket needs to be slightly modified but for $150 it may be very worth it. I am looking into it and may go this route... heck... I may fab up a new bracket design and start selling this as a kit.

Amber Suspension Fault. The vehicle first said normal mode only. Then the front would not go up to normal. Then yesterday when I got home the car went to the ground and the fault went to red.
In the mountains I did get several different faults. Once I got the one that said - suspension...
Well... I took the LR out elk hunting this last week down in the Blue Mountains in Washington state. The Rover was fabulous until the Air Suspension failed. :argh:
Thought you would all enjoy this picture...
This last week hunting my Air Suspension failed and I got the amber warning... as off today the LR3 is completely slammed and going to my INDY tomorrow. Just curious what you guys recommend to do with the suspension?
Leave it stock?
Johnson Rods?
I have no idea what happened to it but my...
Kinda like the Lux of the RR... im kinda a motorhead so a SC just sounds better. :hello: Doesn't have to be the SC version thought. I like my LR3 but I feel they are a bit problematic mechanically.
They have a continental tire on them... Probably only get about 10k out of them. How much are they worth? $750?
Dont mean to steal your thread...
Great news! Manager at my dealer called me today. As of October they are under new ownership and new Management... looks like Ford Mo Co took the dealership back from the previous owner. They apologized for the terrible experience the past dealer put me through and Im taking the rig in next week...
