It's worth a try I guess. All the wasted time finding and installing an anchor point for the bolts down the drain. Never really looked at it as distracting but I see now.
I wish in the Old Dominion (Virginia) we have to have a front and back plate.
Even on my 1966 Scout with 66 plates they are required. Got pulled in the Scout and the cop told me I couldn't run 1966 plates. I love educating law enforcement.
Maybe I will "loose" it on the road after my State...
So here's the pics. Didnt want glare so took at dusk
I was very happy with the way the turn signals look with a gloss black reflective painted back and a missing amber lens. You can hardly tell ther is no amber lens, but it sure makes a difference in the day time not seeing that big amber...
I got some headliner sag in the back on mine, so I was thinking of slicing in the corners and pulling back the fabric to spray some 3M 77 adhesive on it. I will be watching the headliner portion for sure, you popping in a new one or doing DIY repair?
A;lso I noticed the VT emblem on the back, I...
Just checking back... Yes I will be out on the truck tonight, to line up some new to install 6" LED light strips. I will do a full walk around with varying lights.
Let me know what you think and don't be shy, LOL If it looks Crap say so, I'm a big boy. Should have taken more photos when I did it...
Sounds like the two scout internationals I own. I can fix anything on them and did a sting and level alignment and she drove straight as an arrow. I try to do all, and have so far of my own work as well even though I don not have the depth of tools you have. But those scouts don't do so well on...
So I finished taking the headlights apart again and painting the interior pieces black gloss with wheel and rim paint. This seemed to be the best reflective choice. I decided against another type/set of DRL's as I didn't like the look once everything was painted black. I also removed the...
BeemerNut, when you did your poly bushings, did you have access to a hydraulic press or just a bushing replacement tool set like this one: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/27pc-Universal-Press-Pull-Sleeve-Kit-Bush-Bearing-Removal-Insertion-Tool-Set-/201220989383?hash=item2ed9b4a1c7:g:DoAAAOSwD0lUata9...
So now about a week into having tinted lights and I found out a couple things:
1. When I did my headlights I went about it two ways, first full wrap with heat and no relief cuts on the drivers side. This has not held up well. I am sure it was my fault as the drivers was the first light I did...
I had a problem when I placed a new cushion in my lower seat but turns out I had not gotten the plug all the way in. I'm sure you already checked all the plugs so I am no help.
Possibly a ground issue, or the relay even if you here it activate it could have brunt contacts. Maybe switch out the...
Houm I was never able to find the instructions I was looking for. If you don't have too many passenger's riding with you, you could always flip flop the passenger and driver's side bottom seat cushions. My understanding is that the bottom seat cushions are the same in either seat.
WEll you can find them on ebay, I got mine from Rimmer Brothers but it was around $90 so you can do better then that. I saw some on ebay for around $65.
Just make sure its the right one. Should look like this: https://rimmerbros.com/Item--i-HGB500032
I'll look to see if I can find the video, it was one of those things that I ran across in an unusual place, so.. the cushion I got off Ebay I think it was resonably priced from what I rememebr at least resonably priced in that I nbeeded it real bad.
So this afternoon I came home to everyone's favorite thing in my mailbox...An Amazon pkg. It was the tint I had ordered from them for the headlights and tail lights. Unfortunately is was a Dark Smoke and I wanted Light smoke for my tinting. Called the supplier and explained I had opened one...
Something like this should work: I am hoping anyway cause I have some on order.

So I have done the cornering light mod, and will be rebuilding my air valves next. Also have to refurb my third brake light, did the headlights refurb.
Also looked at some DRL's but I didn't like the look after I split and placed the DRL LED strips, so I bailed and just did the corner lights...
Next up Mod for me, is rebuilding my air valves.
GEt a $25 kit o-rings off ebay cause I have a leak somewhere that soapy water will not find. Before I go all shock strut replacement I am doing the cheap parts to see if that cures her.
Might as well rebuild the air compressor too since I did the...
Here is the headlight connector pin out. As I said look for the red wire in the #4 hole.
I am sure it should be there, all US models were supposed to have the wire whether the cornering lights were fitted or not.
Make sure when you go into the CCF you enable both Cornering Light (1) and (2).
All NAS model even if "not equipped" have the power wire that leads to the + of the cornering lights. Look inside the HL and see if you have a cut out like a plug. If so take a look at your wiring harness that comes in to the headlight. Connector has or doesn't have a red wire in the #4 socket...
Here's some Voss fittings:

Here's the o-ring kit for the three valves. I am waiting to rebuild my front, as I have the front leak down in 48 hours. Checked the bags with soap and water no leaks there. Pulled fuse 26 and front right went down 30mm, FL 10mm, Right rear 10mm, LR 10mm.
So pretty sure its these babies...
