RRS with temp gauge spiking intermittently then drops please help
Are there any reasons not to connect a digital meter to the coolant temp sensor and read it during these "sudden normal to high temp" spike conditions? It is quite possible to have a temp sensor reading air in an air pocket then get splashed with a different temp coolant changing the output...- BeemerNut

Upper to lower intake manifold gasket
