    Sign of Things to Come?

noticed a “pop” sound coming from front end area of my 4 a bit ago while pulling out of a parking spot in drive. Bushings are fine so I know it’s not control arms bouncing around. I have a cringing feeling it’s a drive shaft/front diff issue. Anyone have similar occurrence?

My MAP sensor went out a few months back. Plugged in my reader and it showed several codes. Replaced sensor and cleared codes. No more codes till this day. Knock on wood

    Fuel display/consumption/warning low fuel light

From what I’m aware of and told by a few Brits.. the truck has a learning curve based on your driving habits. Thus giving a “guess” at fuel distance remaining.

LED Aux. & Pro Speed Mounts

Update. The 8” bars from Exteme LED were too long from heat sink to front lense to work with the brackets. Sending those back for a full refund and coughing up $560 for a pair of ST4 Lazer’s made to bolt on directly.

    Possible coolant leak?

I’ll top it off. Thanks for all the advice. If it persists at a fast rate I’ll take a look at the water pump. My warranty covers the pump.

LED Aux. & Pro Speed Mounts

Mounts arrived today. Just finished installing them. Haven’t installed the brackets that hold the lights in place just yet. Going to see if the brackets that come with sets of lights are any better. Materials and coating were just fine. Had zero fitment issues. Hardest part of aligning both...

    Possible coolant leak?

Upon installing ProSpeed light brackets on my Disco4, noticed my coolant level is low. My truck has been sitting for two days without being in use. -No faults. -No coolant smell. -No signs of dry coolant around housing thermostat housing or water pump. -No signs of cracked hoses. Level is...

LED Aux. & Pro Speed Mounts

I’ll see how they arrive. If they’re garbage I’ll send back before drilling or mounting. Thanks for the heads up. What lighting setup did you go with?

LED Aux. & Pro Speed Mounts

This company makes a solid looking mounting system, OEM Plus. Unfortunately, I’ve yet to find an English site or US Distributed. I’ve sent an email to them. They have it priced at £990 for the mounting system AND Lazer TripleR Elite LED’s.

LED Aux. & Pro Speed Mounts

ProSpeedUK makes mounting solutions including a lightbar above the wind screen. Lucky8 has a few in stock to avoid paying high shipping/tax, $230 or so. The grill brackets are $198+shipping from them as well. LazerLamps is based out of Essex, UK. ExtremeLED is out of Colorado; both are very high...

LED Aux. & Pro Speed Mounts

Finally got around to ordering some lighting essentials. For a while I wasn’t sure if I’d go LazerLamps from the UK or find a cheaper, American option. Some Toyota guys and overlanders recommended ExtremeLED’s. Turns out the quality is up there with Ridid and Lazer for a fraction of the cost...

    20 inch mud terrain success

Just keep in mind that list only applies to the LR3, according to them. I got an email from them a few weeks back after asking about the Toyo MT in 275/55r20. Had 275/65r18’s on my 3. My 4 had 275/55r20 Duratracs prior. Now on KO2’s. Just bare in mind the frame horn issue on the 4’s.

    105k Miles(New Issue)

Just reading over this, sorry! What was believed initially to be a $60 relay turned into a $425 blower replacement. $153 parts, $160 labor, $95 diagnostics. I’ve made an appointment for the 105k service(just rolled over to 106k) to be done after Thanksgiving. Having the transmission pan...

    105k Miles(New Issue)

On the way to work today and noticed the AC was not blowing at all. Orange indicators were displayed on AC knob. Rear air blows fine. This occurred on my previous LR3. A replacement of the relay was all that was needed. Normally I’d change this out myself as it’s a simple fix. But.. Truck just...

    2010 vs. 2015 LR4

    1) Mirrors are upgraded with LED turn signals. Turn signal on 2010-2013 are like the Lr3’s, on the side of the body. 2) Front bumper has a different, newer style. Fog light shape/location. 3) Headlamps are much different. Different shape and style of lighting. 4) Grill is different shape...

    Spot/Flood Light

I want to hear feedback on those who have spot and/or flood accessory lights. Should I go LED or HID? Round vs bar? I know HID is the brightest, but requires a ballast; less space under hood. I’ve seen the setups. I’m going for quality over looks. Lazer Lamps make a good pair of bars...

    265/50 vs. 285/50 - Daily

I wouldn’t run a different sized spare. Prior to getting matching spare I had a smaller size on and didn’t drive much at all due to possible differential damage

    20 inch mud terrain success

They ride heaps better. They don’t “look” as aggressive as the Duratracs I had and certainly aren’t as squared off. But I’ll trade looks for quality anytime. No rub whatsoever at any angle in access height.

    Ticking sound

I’ve got the same noise on mine. I’ve had the noise now since owner ship at 26k miles. It goes away once warmed up. My truck sees the shop for checkups, alignments, etc a few times a year. I’ve brouhht the noise up with two separate shops. Both gave me the exact exclamation; I know they aren’t...
