    18" wheels, besides compomotive

The North American V8 LR4 has much larger brakes than the LR4 with the diesel options. Most of the wheels found over seas, with the exception of the Compomotives, were originally designed around the diesels LR4 There are a few 18" steel wheel options now. The Tuffant ones are still in a...

    BT Hack for Pre-2013 LR4's

One of my biggest grips on my LR4 is the infotainment system that resembles a 2001 Honda Civic. I hate all of the wires needed to do audio from my phone. I have tried numerous ways around the BT audio. Adapter for iPhone jack (works intermittently, when it wants to), BT connector for AUX (works...

    18" wheels, besides compomotive

I've heard the same, but when searching it seems to fit the LR4 with smaller brakes. In NA I was told by MudTech that they will not fit without spacers. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

    18" wheels, besides compomotive

"Case closed, Compomotives or the Lucky8 steelies (w/ spacers) are the only 18s that'll fit." Not an entirely true statement LR3 18" wheels will fit with a 25-35mm spacer

    All Terrain tires for 20s

I run Cooper Zeon LTZ 285/55/r20 Wear after 30k was less than desirable, but i am over 40k on this set. Went off roading a few times this summer, with no issues on the higher mileage tires. Fantastic in the snow, ice, wet, dry, and mud. When I switch to 18s over the winter, i will be staying...

PN for Rear AUX Input Panel

I've looked here, but they only list an LR4 panel for a 2012-2015 (not sure what the difference is for a 2011. I still cannot find the PN anywhere though. I guess I just call the dealer.

    Android integrated with factory screen

I have a 2011 as well. According to Naviplus they do have a screen mirroring module for the 2011. You just have to use the AUX jack for audio.

PN for Rear AUX Input Panel

Does anyone know the PN for the rear AUX input panel/receptacle. I am having some issue with mine, and need to replace it. I haven't pulled apart yet, so I may be able to replace with a unit from parts Express I'm not sure yet. A google search has come up with nothing so far, and I do not have...

    Android integrated with factory screen

I agree an easy fix, but not sure it can integrate with the factory unit. Considering everything else is plug and play (for the most part).

    Android integrated with factory screen

From my conversation with Naviplus (very good communication BTW), you have to use your factory AUX jack on the back of the center console. This was a deal breaker for me. $600+ and still have to use the factory AUX jack, just looks wrong. I'm sure I could have soldered in something to look...

    Transmission concerns

I change my fluid and filter at 83K (a little late IMO), and it greatly improved the shifting, and lowered the trans temp. As Ryan said, it cant hurt.

ProSpeed Ladder - 4 hour install?

I too had a difficult time fitting the Prospeed ladder. The coating process is sub-par and needs to have a quality review. I had to enlarge the hole for the mounting bolts, and realign the two other holes for straight fitment. I contacted ProSpeed about it, and they stated that the ladder was...

    Tire suggestion

I have 40k on my Cooper Zeon LTZ (285/50r20). Hard to believe after 10K they need to be replaced because of wear. I would just replace the one with the nail in it and call it a day. I do understand the cautious approach, but in this case I think the approach is unwarranted given the wear of the...

LR4 19 inch wheels to 20 inch wheels and tires

To the OP: You can find a multitude of 20" wheels, both OEM and aftermarket. Just depends on your budget. Same goes for tires. For stock size there are about 15 different tires to choose from. From basic on road only tires to more aggressive AT. Again it all depends on what you want. While...

    Major Fluid Change

Different Pan, and an actual separate filter, as opposed to a filter/pan combination. It's a pain to install the filter/pan (remove exhaust and cross member, because of the filter neck) so you can source the filter and a pan separately, because the ZF trans are used in many different makes and...

    Major Fluid Change

Whelp it has come to that that time. Replaced all of the major fluids (Trans, Xfer Case, F/R diffs, Brake, and Coolant). Also did the filter conversion so future trans fluid changes will be much easier. I had my local shop do it, just because of the logistic of disposing of the spent fluid...

    Bubbarope Kinetic Recovery Rope

I have been using the ARB kinetic straps for years. They are excellent and a good mid priced option. I have never broken one, only retired them due to visible wear and tear, not worth being stuck on a trail because of a broken strap.
