    largest tire with no lift

Not "adjustments" but compromises :) They are worth the small compromises that need to be made. Because I always carry a compressor the "reinflation" of the spare isn't an issue. Besides going to a 275/55r20, which will require a small lift. The 285/50r20 will provide the larges sidewall...

    largest tire with no lift

I run a set of 285/50r20 Cooper Zeon LTZ. Great tire on and off road. I got almost 45K miles out of the last set, with proper alignment and scheduled rotation. They did run at the beginning, the first 4-5K miles. They do hurt fuel, but lets be honest its horrible to begin with. Another 1-2...

Booster seats with backs in 3rd row? 2016 LR4

I think legally you are not to allowed to use a booster with a latch system AND the standard 3-point harness. As it exceed the MAX load design of a ISO Latch System The latch system is not designed for more than 60-80lbs. This includes the seat, and child's weight. There was a bulletin put out...

    105k Miles(New Issue)

The Trans, and Diff should be addressed by 75K (if they haven't been done before), I would add this to your list of things to do. Plugs, belt, brake fluid, and coolant should all be done at the 100K service. Also when doing the tranny service, do the ZF filter conversion, it will save the Indy...

LED Aux. & Pro Speed Mounts

I threw my ProSpeed light mounts in the trash. I ordered through Lucky8, and should have known better given the coating issues on my rear ladder from ProSpeed. I spoke with both Erik at Lucky8 and Tom at Prospeed about it. Erik has dome good suggestions but, ProSpeed was of no help. The light...

How our LR3s and 4s would do on this test?

As ryanjl said no need or want for 100% of power at any wheel. With the CDL on the LR4 it creates a 50/50 split front to rear. Technically in this situation you could have 50% at any given wheel. Probably closer to 35% once you consider drivetrain loss. However at 35% still much more available...

    Discovery SVX

I'm curious on this. I've contact two large dealers, prior to seeing this post, in my area who have no idea when the SVX will be available nor an established estimated price range from Land Rover. They would not even take a deposit, as there are way to many variables at this point. Did you pay...

How our LR3s and 4s would do on this test?

The Subaru video seems rigged. Every time a vehicle besides the Subaru starts to move forward the brakes are applied, as evident of the stoppage of all four wheels. Also they do not show the Subaru's transfer of power, once the wheels start to slip. I have seen this first hand, it react the same...

    Showoff Your LR4

You know you have the right vehicle, when you catch yourself in moments of awe... the LR4 has such a classic design. Always helps when he has some cool setting to highlight the awesomeness!! Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

Towing for the first time, a U-Haul trailer.

Sorry I misunderstood the question. Enter them in the General trailer for open trailers. If it's fully enclosed enter as a goods trailer. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

Towing for the first time, a U-Haul trailer.

Enter them manually. I actually measured the various different models I've towed with from U-haul. The LR system does not have a default setting that matches.

    Showoff Your LR4

Agree with this sentiment. When I can get 2"+ lift but only when I need it, makes for a much more pleasant ride overall. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

Towing for the first time, a U-Haul trailer.

Depending on location, most are not too bad. Too much liability on them if something goes wrong. The trailer carriage rules are a bit more strict than the actual rental trucks. But for sure absolutely, check everything prior to departure. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

    2-Speed Transfer Case 2016 LR4

There is my conundrum. I love my LR4, but circumstances may give me no choice. Its paid off, so maybe I'll keep and mod out for a dedicated trail rig ;) Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

    2-Speed Transfer Case 2016 LR4

Lots of reason. Mainly I want something newer. But also I'm hitting that hold your breath till something else breaks phase at 100K. I want a better infotainment system, streaming BT, better fuel economy, HD package, blind spot monitoring... Its either an LR4 or a D5...

    2-Speed Transfer Case 2016 LR4

Did the 2-speed transfer case only come with the HD package in the 2016 LR4? Time to consider getting rid of my much loved LR4, and upgrading. Either to another LR4, or a Discovery 5. The LR4s are very difficult to find with the 2-speed transfer case.

Towing for the first time, a U-Haul trailer.

I tow with a U-haul trailer quite often. I have all three sizes saved into my system in general/utility trailers. Why have the feature if your not going to use them. It is pretty easy to tow with the LR4. self leveing suspension, anti away control, reverse assist (lines on the screen), and...

    265/50 vs. 285/50 - Daily

I have been running 285/50r20 for some time now. A few thing I noticed: heavier steering feel, less bump steer when off-roading, better tracking at HWY speeds, and a much better/aggressive looking stance. I always runs a full size, same type spare. If you are caught on the trail, in the rain...

    20 inch mud terrain success

Pure curiosity. Oddly enough I have heard far more issues with the rods than the GAPIID tool. Then again most are only lifting 1-1.5" Currently I am running a 1.5" lift. Have been for the last 4 years with no issues. But they can be finicky vehicle, so what works on one may not work on another.
