It definitely will not activate a software that isn't installed. The Tow Assist software needs to be installed, it's not simply "activated". I could tell you how I know this but... Tow option question
You will have to activate the tow software, it does not activate when installing the harness. This can be done VIA dealer or with a GAP IID tool (worth every penny they ask for). Lr4 landrover Sump Guard for Sale
LR doesn't list this skid plate with the winch, only with the nudge bar. It may also be used with the winch plate, but there is no specific mention of it. Just making sure everyone is aware that unless you have the nudge bar, or winch plate. The holes will be very noticeable.- jaguardoc504

Engine gone
the NA 5.0 and SC 5.0 are the same engine. They just slap a SC on the it. The SVR engine is the same, with different programming, and a difference crank and SC pulley you would need an engine harness, and ECU as well from a SC 5.0. Anyone change a front interior parking sensor?

Full Size Spare

LR4 Logic7 Sound Upgrade
Cut the connector off, and wire direct. If you are not going to install an uprated amp, then go with the Pioneer, it's a bit more efficient. You will need to make an adapter plate for it to fit properly. I made mine out of MDF.- jaguardoc504

Do the filter conversion on the Transmission Diff (front and rear), Transfer case, and transmission done at 75K for me. Worth the added piece of mind for the transmission. Correct, for the most part it is plug and play. HOWEVER... I did have to pair them on my computer first (not sure why, but my phone wouldn't see it when I just plugged in into the LR4 first time). Legally, Land Rover would have to prove without a doubt the tuned caused the failure. If a window regulator fails LR cannot refuse because of a tune. GAP IID Tool for 2014 LR4
It probably has to do with the CANBUS network, on the newer vehicle. and not being able to properly communicate with the IC. I have an 11' and the GAP IID BT works phenomenally well, and is very easy to use.- jaguardoc504

The BT option is invaluable. Allows you to quickly use a phone or tablet for interface. Otherwise you left scrolling through the vehicles Instrument Cluster or hoping your laptop will connect to it..
