    Roof Rack Conundrum

Finlay do you have any comment on my above post. I know you have the rack, but I am not sure which on you ordered. I can save myself $80 (use for an accessory) and go with the other one, which by the way; you have to search Google for. It is not listed on their website.

    Roof Rack Conundrum

So I think I am going to lean towards the Baja Rack, but I have found 2 different units for the LR4 Does anyone know the difference? http://www.bajarack.com/land-rover-4-standard $890 + $120 shipping and http://www.bajarack.com/br-lr-lr3-1-0 $950 + $140 for shipping From what I can tell they...

    Roof Rack Conundrum

I actually have the cross bars as well, but they didn't hold enough weight for my comfort. Plus the bolt on Thule rack was really noisy and flimsy.

    Towing Electric Kit Install

You only need to program the vehicle when installing a brake control. Even on the 2015 models. The harnesses essential "splices" into the left rear tail light. It installed in about 30 minutes. Pretty easy to do with basic hand tools

    Tow Package Option

This is a dealer or self installed option. It is only a wiring harness (easy to install yourself with the directions), and receiver. The "hitch" is built into the vehicle.

    Roof Rack Conundrum

Finlay, are the boxed in areas towards the back, on either side of the antenna, larger enough to fit a fuel can (upright) I cannot find the dimensions or see any other purpose for them. This would be a good feature if so. Thanks for the information in advance.

    Roof Rack Conundrum

So I have the Voyager Rack Off Road Challenge Edition Roof Rack, but I am not in love with it; the looks or function. I like the utilitarianism of stuff, the Voyager Rack is well build (and heavy), but I don't like the lack of "factory" options available. Yes I know I can make just about...

    North-east wheeling locations?

I have a giraffe and lion kids Halloween costume... Maybe set it up as an African safari/hunt ;) or I can work with them to be my "trophies" to sit still... highly unlikely since they are 2 and 5, but we can dream :) The wheels are spinning :D

    Showoff Your LR4

The day I got her/him(if you ask my daughter), and about 2 weeks later, up at a friends farm; mostly mud, and stream crossings. I will get some more updated pics of how she looks now when the weather get a little nicer.

    North-east wheeling locations?

I just looked at the MuddyChef, it looks very entertaining and I am toying with the idea of bringing the whole family. ME, has a few trails system open to vehicles, look at the Jeep club websites for each individual state for more clarification on state laws and what trails are available. I know...

    Suggestions for Tires 20" Wheels

285/50r20 Bridgestone Blizzak DM-V1 in the Winter 285/50r20 Cooper Zeon LTZ in the Summer. Only rub at full lock, and even then only on uneven terrain. It rubs on the frame horn located at the rear of the wheel well. I have had no issues with tire, or vehicle damage though, as the area it rubs...

    Snorkel for 2012 LR4

I actually don't think you need two. There is a baffle/valve assembly in the intake system, with in each side runner, that will not allow water to enter the intake system. Therefore if you fitted the snorkel to one side you would still be able to draw air, from the side fitted with the snorkel...
