$34 to GAP for the fast lane service and then the new steering with with paddles and heat. So all in around $220 to get it done myself. Procedure is not bad at all if you already have the blanks on your current steering wheel for the paddles. If not you will need to swap to a RRS/LR4 steering...
The $500 version would be correct. It helped me with figuring out my fuel injector issue, coil pack issue, as well as when i replaced my suspension pump. I also just used their fast lane service when i swapped in a heated steering wheel with paddle shifters and getting those operational.
It is.. He also makes A pillar covers like that as well. I have the Miami British one on my D2. About 7 years now and it is holding up well. I did need to touch up some paint but that has been about it.
For Texas yes I still find it useful. Waze does a great job with the speed traps but it is the rural areas where the cell coverage is spotty that they becomes useful. Speeding is not an issue as I am going down the highway as I keep it to posted speeds. It is these little towns that like to have...
I finished up my install last night for the 4 and the D2. I wanted one that could easily go between the vehicles when I drive them so I went with the Cobra Road Scout detector/camera combo. Install went cleanly with everything tucked away.
First off you were dealing with LR Houston North. Run. Dont walk. Just run. They even refused to work on my Evoque under warranty due to the fact I already knew the error code after reading it myself with a icarsoft reader. I sent the vehicle to a shop in Dallas instead. There are a few...
I have had the same issue with the HD radio as well for over the past year. Between that and my Sirius radio dropping signal when it would get over 95 degrees I gave up on both. Bovee adapter, Amazon music and a Echo Auto. For me that solved the headache and gave me voice control for calls...
You should not have any issues. The only thing you might be lacking is the OEM round driving lights but those are easy to source. ARB did finally release a LED turn signal replacement for these as well.
EXACTLY! The OEM A frame is all plastic and would not stand up to anything hitting it. Heck it flexes when I rub up against it when I change my oil. Now as a platform for my aux lights I have no complaints but I did not expect or want anything more than that. The 4 is my family hauler/tow...
I flipped them over from how the OEMs mount. Drilled a hole and then cut some metal strips to beef up the plastic where it is bolted to. Very solid and when off roading I did not notice any bouncing around of the light.
I am going to ask as well since this is in Houston. Can you know what you find there? I just need a new DS window switch plastic in black. Mine is scratched and is driving me crazy.
That is the exact reason i went with the Anderson over others. I can adjust the WD (which is not really needed due to the air). The sway control part is nice but now that i have the resisters on the trailer and the towing option turned on via GAP I and testing the setup again next weekend.
I use a tekonsha p3 brake controller with the ford wiring adapter. Install was very easy for the controller as it was basically just plug and play. My new RV is 4200lbs with a 390lbs tongue weight. I kept with the rule with keeping it under 80% of the towing ability and that being said i am...
I just did the same knob covers on my 4. The heat down here in Texas took their toll on them even with a yearly cleaning with goo gone.
$24. Not a bad price.

I run these on mine. No issues and stable at highway speed.

Thanks for the help and the write up. I was able to source the Injectors off of fleabay for $680 and then the injector puller as well. Not bad in in with new plugs, PS valve cover (complete), injectors, tool, and a hitachi compressor rebuild kit for under $1000. Joe D. on this page is a land...
Well here is another one acting up with the exact same symptoms as what Dave was seeing. I replaced the 02's just a few weeks ago for normal scheduled maintenance and sure enough today on the way to work it started acting up. Spark checks fine but it is blowing gas out the tailpipe. Same error...
The one thing to look for if you add the recovery points is make sure you have a kit that comes with a backing plate. I did add them to my D2 with a ARB and kept everything in line with the area where it mounts to the frame. The one downside to having a airbag compliant bull bar is that the...

mbw - I agree. I grabbed what I had handy to just make sure the dome nut had something on it. I am going back into that area for a hidden winch install here in the coming weeks and planning on sealing it better when I do.
I found this info on the LR4 facebook group and it help me finally solve the issues I was seeing with the charging on my 11 LR4. I had replaced the alternator and battery last April and would still see voltage drop down to 12.2 while running. Initially I blamed it on a bad new alternator so I...
